QuickTime Movies

Below are what are called “wired” QuickTime movies. These are movies that have smarts, and can be given the ability to process input from a mouse, the keyboard, or other QuickTime movies. The wired QuickTime movies on this page were written using LiveStage Professional.

Virtual Metronome is a simple metronome that provides a reference beat for practicing rhythms, tempo, etc. The tempo, the sound played for each beat, and the playback volume can be adjusted when the metronome is on.

Arrowplay is the first game I wrote using Livestage Professional. Admittedly, it isn’t much of a game, but I learned a lot in the process of developing it. All of the sounds in the game make use of QuickTime General MIDI. By using MIDI there is no download time imposed by having sound effects in the game, as long as the sound effects are available in an exisitng MIDI bank.
